The Event
Every year the NHS Scotland event provides an opportunity for those working in healthcare to recognise the achievements, challenges and future developments necessary to make a sustainable and effective healthcare system across Scotland.
The Scottish Rural Medicine Collaborative (SRMC) welcomed this opportunity and have come away from the event even more inspired and motivated to make a significant difference to GP recruitment and retention in rural Scotland.
The Stand
The SRMC team received many visitors at the exhibitor stand over the two days. We were delighted to share our progress across various developments improving retention and recruitment of GPs in rural Scotland. It was also an ideal opportunity for the SRMC team to learn from many brilliant minds within NHS Scotland who came to chat.
Poster Presentations
This year’s event showcased some of the most innovative developments improving healthcare delivery throughout Scotland. The SRMC presented on two key innovations including the Digital Platform: GPJobs.scot and The Bureau Initiative. Both posters received many visitors and provoked much positive discussion about SRMC’s work.
