November 7 2019 - November 9 2019

The European Rural and Isolated Practitioners Association (EURIPA) is a representative network organisation founded by family doctors to address the health and wellbeing needs of rural communities and the professional needs of those serving them across Europe.  It represents a growing network of rural practitioners and organisations across Europe working together to disseminate good practice, initiate research and influence policy.

Isolation and rural medicine: innovation solutions for developing local health services

The programme will be focused around three main topics: acute health conditions, chronic conditions and clinical interventions in rural/isolated settings. Specific topics will include areas like polypharmacy, multimorbidity, telemedicine, medical training in the online era, or patient management, among others, always in the perspective of health professionals that practice in isolated/rural settings.
