This accessibility statement applies to the website and domain of https://www.srmc.scot.nhs.uk

This website is run by the Scottish Rural Medicine Collaborative (SRMC). We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means that you should be able to:

  • zoom in up to 300% without the text splitting off of the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand where possible.

How accessible this website is

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

  • Prezi presentation on the “about us” page, can be difficult to use when using a keyboard only
  • PDF or Word documents provided throughout the website and the ‘Good Practice’ section of the website may not be fully accessible as these may be older or provided by a third party
  • Alt tags may be insufficient in some areas at present

We aim to conform to the WCAG standards issued by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) but recognise that with changes to the content of the site, content may drift from conformance over time.

The SRMC is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed above.
